06/10/2017 - 07/10/2017 : FON. For Full of Noises Festival, Soundcamp present work in process from the first South Walney residency with Octopus Collective and the Cumbria Wildlife Trust. Live streams from 4 locations on the island, including 2 off grid, provide proof of concept for the extension of a Cumbria Open Microphone Network (COMN). Real-time sounds streaming live into Barrow Market for South Walney Radio introduce some of the turbulence and strange attraction of this far yet remote location into everyday exchanges.
