Sounds of Giant Pandas and environments at Chengdu and Wolong Mountain
The Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, in partnership with China Network Television and iPandacom, provides 24 hour video coverage of the various enclosures that comprise the Center. 28 cameras relay live feeds following the daily lives of these 'living national treasures.'
'Stand up, eat, sleep, drink milk, slapstick, climbing..'
Most of the online cameras have audio, which is often quite uneventful and austere, reflecting, perhaps, the monotony of the large landscaped enclosures inhabited by the pandas, together with smaller wild animals, birds and insects.
Under pools of artificial light, night insects are prominent in the period before dawn, with the first birds.
